What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a specialized technique used to target tight, sensitive spots in your muscles known as trigger points. By using a very thin, sterile needle, we can reach the deeper tissues that manual therapy alone often can't access.

While it may look similar to acupuncture, dry needling is fundamentally different. It is based on a modern medical understanding of muscles, nerves, and movement patterns rather than traditional energy pathways, making it a powerful tool for modern athletes and active adults.

How Does Dry Needling Work?

When a thin, sterile needle is placed into a trigger point, it helps release deep-seated muscle tension and improves local blood flow. This process works with your body to calm irritated nerves and reset the way your muscles react.

During your session, you might feel a brief muscle twitch or a dull ache. This is a normal and reassuring sign that the muscle is responding. Our primary goal is to help you reduce persistent pain and regain smooth, fluid movement in the area.
